Digital Nomad Visa

While Morocco does not yet offer a formal digital nomad visa, its generous 90-day tourist visa for many nationalities makes it a top destination for remote workers seeking a vibrant and affordable base. The country's convenient time zone for European business, combined with its fascinating culture, excellent weather, and low cost of living, attracts a steady stream of digital nomads.

You can easily extend your stay with a visa run. Settle in the coastal surf town of Essaouira, the bustling cultural hub of Marrakech, or the blue city of Chefchaouen. Morocco offers an exotic, inspiring, and budget-friendly environment for your remote work adventure.

General requirements

No official Digital Nomad Visa. The most common alternative is to enter on a tourist visa and then apply for a residence card (Carte de Séjour) as a "visitor" if staying longer than 90 days.
