General requirements
A two-part process requiring both a Work Permit and a Temporary Residence Permit. The employer applies for the work permit from the Employment Service, proving a local candidate is not available. The employee then applies for a long-stay (Type D) visa and/or a temporary residence permit with the work permit approval, a valid passport, an employment contract, proof of qualifications, a police clearance certificate, a medical certificate, and proof of accommodation.
